Allina Health in Eagan, MN is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and nursing staff in delivering timely, quality patient care. Duties include rooming patients, managing flow, vital signs, documentation in EMR, injections, and assists with procedures.

The role is 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two-week pay period), day shift, with an 8-hour shift and no weekend rotation. A $2,000 starting bonus is available for eligible external talent.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years or older with required competencies.
• Completed Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare education.
• Fewer than 6 months MA experience? must have 160 hours externship or practicum.

Mansioni

• Rooms patients, manages patient flow and obtains adequate patient data.
• Collects patient information via interviews, vitals, and documents in EMR.
• Assist with exams and provide psycho-emotional support as needed.
• Assist with specimens collection, labeling and processing.
• Coordinate test results with providers and RN.
