Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Dermatology. The LPN will provide direct nursing care under a registered nurse or provider, observe and document patient information, and support education for patients and families.

This is a full-time position at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Applicants must hold an active LPN license and BLS certification prior to orientation.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice as an LPN in the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care under the direction of a RN or provider.
• Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care in the EMR.
• Instruct patients and families according to teaching plans.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
