Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology PLLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse – Mohs for our Monroe office. You will assist in Mohs surgery, provide pre- and post-operative education, and help prepare rooms and records. The role supports a professional patient experience within a collaborative dermatology team.

Work hours are part-time, 20+ hours, with Monday–Friday availability and rotating Saturdays during 7:00am–7:30pm. Flexibility to cover in a team environment is required.

Qualifications

Pass the NCLEX-PN or state approved comparison.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Active LPN license in the state working in.
Experience with EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Assist the physician in Mohs surgery and related procedures.
Prepares surgical/exam rooms and cleans after visits.
Record prescribed treatments and orders accurately.
Monitor vital signs and ensure correct patient before procedures.
Provide pre- and post-operative education to patients.
