Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant – Mohs for our Purchase Office. The role supports physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures and requires healthcare experience. Experience with EMR software and scheduling systems, plus CMA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities include patient prep, room setup, documentation of treatments and medications, and inventory management. The position offers a flexible weekday schedule within clinic hours.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• EMR software and scheduling system experience.
• National CMA preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent patient relations and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures.
• Record treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, and prior authorizations.
• Prepare rooms before and after patients and verify equipment is in working order.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Monitor stock and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.
