Schweiger Dermatology Group in West Palm Beach is seeking a Full-Time Lead Medical Assistant to supervise and develop staff, support physicians, and maintain efficient clinical operations. Dermatology experience and EMR proficiency are required to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, managing exam rooms, training staff, and ensuring adherence to CLIA/HIPAA guidelines. Open weekday/weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience working in a dermatology/medical environment preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated employee.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider.
• Lead by example, maintains office presence and highest level of professionalism.
• Maintains effective and constructive communication with office management to instill company values, vision, and protocols in all associated colleagues and providers.
• Have a thorough working knowledge of all standard operating protocol and policies that pertain to the clinical department.
• Have thorough knowledge of all clinical treatments to appropriately care for the patient’s needs.
• Preps exam rooms for all procedures and properly cleans exam rooms after every visit.
• Assist office management in successfully running the day-to-day clinical operations of their respective location by providing supervision and evaluation of day-to-day duties.
• Ensure that all assigned Medical Assistants/LPNs follow company policies and protocols such as adhering to opening and closing checklist are being accounted for daily and properly.
• Oversee and ensure all required medical forms are organized and submitted with accurate data and in a timely manner.
