QualDerm Partners is seeking a Grossing Technician to support our Illinois laboratory operations. The role involves grossly assessing dermatologic tissues, ensuring accurate measurements, description, and proper handling per safety rules.

The position requires a Bachelor's in lab science (or 60 credit hours with science coursework) and 1–2 years of lab experience. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities within a growing dermatology lab network.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological laboratory science, or medical technology, or completion of 60 semester hours with science focus.
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Grossly assess dermatologic tissues for processing, recording size and description, and inking/sectioning as needed.
• May perform gross dissections under supervision of the lab medical director.
• Complete administrative duties such as accessioning and slide send out.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure PPE usage.
• Observe safety regulations and properly dispose of biohazardous waste.
• Travel to other jobs or office locations as applicable.
