US Path Labs in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a dedicated Lab Assistant to support grossing dermatology specimens and general histology workflows. The role involves receiving and processing skin samples, maintaining clean work areas, and documenting results.
Training is available; CLIA requirements for Grossing must be met or pursued; recent graduates are welcome. Prior lab experience is preferred but not required.
Receive and prepare skin specimens for processing.
Identify and document technical issues, quality assurance, and procedural improvements.
Use, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, and keep a clean, disinfected work space.
Receive, log, and document patient specimens and accompanying forms.
Must meet CLIA requirements for Grossing.
Experience working in a lab preferred, but willing to train the right candidate (may begin as a Lab Assistant)
Minimum of 1 year Grossing Dermatology specimens, preferred
Will train a recent graduate
