Dermatology Associates of Western Connecticut PC is seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our team. The role sets the tone for the patient experience in a high-volume dermatology practice, combining warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure every patient feels welcomed from first contact to checkout.

Key duties include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, updating ECG/EMR records, coordinating with clinical staff, and assisting with skincare product sales

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a medical office preferred.
• Effective communication and professional demeanor.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers and EMR systems (ModMed/EMA a plus).
• Reliable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients efficiently and professionally.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Enter and update patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to keep the schedule running on time.
• Assist with general front desk and administrative tasks.
• Assist with the sale of skincare products.
