Dermatology Forecasting Lead – Associate Director

Job summary

Sanofi in Cambridge, MA seeks an Associate Director of Forecasting for Dermatology to lead long-range and in-line forecast development for Dupixent's US Dermatology portfolio. You will partner with the US Dupixent Commercial team and cross-functional partners to deliver accurate forecasts and strategic insights.

The role requires strong analytical and Excel modeling skills, comfort with data science concepts, and the ability to influence decisions in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of direct forecasting experience in pharma/biotech; advanced degree optional with 3–4 years experience.
• Strong business acumen with communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical and forecasting skills; Excel expertise required.
• Proven strategic thinking with understanding of pharmaceutical landscape; experience in relevant therapeutic areas a plus.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources and US payer/insurer environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in applying data science methodologies; VBA or programming languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term patient/volume/revenue forecasts for the US Dermatology portfolio for annual planning and budgeting.
• Harmonize forecast cycles across US Specialty Care forecasters and cross-functional partners.
• Enhance models to reflect brand direction, segmentation, and patient flow.
• Plan and design studies with Market Research to inform forecasts (demand studies, conjoint analyses).
• Incorporate latest access assumptions and payer mix analyses; calculate rebates.
• Use external forecasts and analogue analyses to stress-test assumptions when needed.
• Develop forecast scenarios to quantify risks and opportunities.
• Present forecast assumptions and outputs to leadership across US Dupixent and Global teams.
• Collaborate with Finance to deliver forecast review presentations; align with Global guidance.
• Provide monthly performance updates and near-term outlooks with analytics input.
• Deliver end-of-month closing analyses with price/volume and demand/inventory.
• Revise near-term forecast with leadership on opportunities/threats.
• Engage with brand leads to review updates and provide data-driven insights.
• Ensure SKU-level forecasts support monthly supply planning and S&OP meetings.
