Job summary

LEO Pharma is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to cover the Jackson, Mississippi territory. This field-based role focuses on promoting dermatology products to dermatologists, GPs and other healthcare providers, building sustained relationships and driving territory sales.

The role requires 2–5 years in life sciences or pharmaceutical sales, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to work remotely in a virtual setting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; sales/marketing or science related degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of sales experience required; Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred.
• Dermatology, Specialty or Immunology experience preferred.
• Proven, documented record of consistent sales success in complex markets; product launch experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product‑related information; advanced clinically‑based selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong and effective relationships with HCPs within assigned territory.
• Differentiate product value proposition to all healthcare providers and other stakeholders, in order to develop and maintain product advocates.
• Effectively articulate features of LEO Pharma’s portfolio of products, including approved uses, benefits, safety, and efficacy, with an emphasis on which products are best suited for particular patient profiles or circumstances.
• Continuously gather market intelligence and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Develop a call routing plan that maximizes opportunities to call on targeted customers. Achieve designated call expectations for HCP face‑to‑face and retail pharmacy calls.
• Coordinate the distribution of product samples and promotional materials.
• Complete required training and administrative duties accurately and on time.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
