Medical Associates Clinic in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our Dermatology Department. You will support dermatologists with procedures, collect patient data, and help ensure a positive, efficient patient experience.

Ideal candidates have 3 months to 1 year of related clinical experience, a two-year college degree or specialized certification, and CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or eligibility within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of related clinical experience.
• Two-year college degree or completion of specialized program or certification from a trade school.
• Current CMA/CCMA/RMA certification or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist in surgeries and treatment procedures.
• Collect patient health data, diagnostic tests, treatments and review records; coordinate with physicians as needed.
• Coordinate multiple appointments and manage demographic and insurance information; generate lab orders.
• Collaborate with health care team according to plan of care.
• Document care provided and maintain medical records integrity.
• Facilitate reimbursement with charge tickets, referrals and insurance requirements.
• Maintain a safe, neat, organized office and ensure equipment is functional.
• Perform additional duties and participate in meetings.
