Job summary

Medical Associates Dermatology Department is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced dermatology clinic. You will assist dermatologists with a range of procedures from acne care to mole removal and help promote a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification, 2-year degree or equivalent, and 3 months to 1 year of related experience; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Three months to one year of similar or related experience.
• On-the-job training provided!
• Must possess CMA certification or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgeries and treatment procedures.
• Collect pertinent patient health data and coordinate with physicians.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information; handle scheduling and lab orders.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff; promote patient wellness and education.
• Document care provided and assist with medical records integrity.
• Facilitate reimbursement, referrals, and insurance requirements.
