Job summary

UCB is seeking a Clinical Account Specialist for the Dermatology field in Indianapolis South, IN, to drive demand for the HS pipeline assets and strengthen relationships with clinical decision makers and staff. You will work to ensure needed therapies reach patients, delivering clinical information to healthcare professionals and staff while navigating the payor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals.
• Valid Driver License with no more than 2 moving violations in the previous three-year period.
• Must reside within assigned geography.
• Preferred: 5 years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals.
• Experience calling on Dermatologists in the assigned geography.
• Experience selling injectable biologics products.
• Proven track record of success in Pharmaceutical Sales demonstrated by goals and awards.
• Biologic product launch experience.
• Understanding of managed care landscape and its impact on business.
• Strong verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and success working in teams.

Responsibilities

• Attain territory sales goals through territory planning and visiting clinical decision makers.
• Analyze territory data to build and adapt a customer call plan.
• Maintain understanding of the competitive marketplace and prescriber drivers.
• Conduct account activities such as profiling, call planning, and reviewing sales data.
• Make strategic decisions in management of resources (budgets, samples, access opportunities).
• Coordinate and support promotional educational opportunities for medical stakeholders in line with policy.
