Job summary

Johns Hopkins University’s Dermatology Outpatient Clinic seeks a Clinical Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality medical, procedural and cosmetic dermatology care. You will assist with minor surgeries and laser procedures, coordinate pre- and post-operative care, and be a resource for patients and staff.

Under physician supervision, you’ll triage calls, document in EPIC, teach patients, and help ensure safe, timely care while maintaining Maryland RN licensure and CPR

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse licensed in Maryland.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Education may substitute for experience per JHU policy.

Responsibilities

• Works independently under physician supervision to assess/treat phototherapy patients.
• Triages and answers patient calls; documents in EPIC as directed.
• Assists with minor surgical and laser procedures in clinic.
• Teaches patients and families; coordinates pre-/post-op care.
• Acts as liaison among dermatology staff, PCPs and other teams.
