Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
• Four years related experience, including previous lead or supervisory experience.
• Additional education may substitute for up to one year of required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula

Responsibilities

• Coordinate smooth and efficient patient flow and clinical operation.
• Coordinate a multi-faceted cosmetic and clinical office.
• Assist patients, referring physicians, and third-party carriers to resolve patient related issues.
• Mentor, train, and lead day-to-day operations with Clinic Manager.
• Organize staff meetings with Clinic Manager.
• Improve clinical operations in collaboration with Clinic Manager, Medical Director, and/or Administrator.
• Prepare specialized reports and budgets.
• Schedule patients and manage rooming/procedures.
• Explain lab test preparation to patients.
• Explain insurance plans to patients and obtain pre-certifications.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and monitor clinic utilization.
• Assist staff with phones, registration, and other operations.
• Prepare clinic statistics and reports; track referrals and appointments.
• Promote service excellence to ensure satisfaction.
