Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full-time Clinic Medical Assistant to join the CHH Dermatology Clinic. The role includes greeting and registering patients, handling communications, and supporting daily clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical assisting or 1 year MA experience.
• MA certification completion required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with patients, co-workers and physicians.
• Proficient with basic office equipment and computer use.
• Experience in EKG, Autoclave, Holter Monitor and PFT equipment.
• Physical ability to move up to 50 pounds and remain active during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and handle incoming/outgoing communications.
• Answer calls promptly, route messages, and provide information.
• Schedule patient appointments and confirm them one day prior.
• Collect co-pays and maintain cash handling accuracy.
• Maintain patient records, reports and other important information.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
