Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Record vitals and chief complaint on the patient flow sheet.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist physicians with examinations.
• Coordinate scheduling, telephone calls, and patient registration tasks.
• Prepare exam rooms, ensure supplies and equipment are available and functioning.
• Coordinate pre-certifications and referrals with staff and patients.
• Support nursing and front desk to maintain smooth patient flow.
