Job summary

Skin and Cancer Institute in Lodi, CA seeks a part-time Back Office Medical Assistant to support providers, manage patient flow, and maintain accurate medical records. You will perform clinical tasks, assist in dermatologic procedures, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a High school diploma, Medical Assistant training, and 1–2 years of clinical office experience. Proficiency with EHR systems and basic software is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is a plus.
• Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical operations and patient care per physician instructions.
• Assist dermatologic procedures and wound care using sterile technique.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Schedule appointments and manage follow-up calendars.
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and sunscreen use.
