Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Associate for Global Derivatives Services Operations to support OTC derivatives workflows and advisor business. You will ensure accurate trade capture, lifecycle events, and regulatory compliance while partnering with Credit, Legal, Compliance, Tax, and Pricing teams.

You will develop deep product expertise, lead strategic initiatives, and drive process improvements with automation focus across multiple product types and time zones.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of derivatives and hedging products across IR swaps, cross-currency swaps, CDS, commodities, FX, and OTC Equity Derivatives.
• Full trade lifecycle understanding including onboarding, ISDA and Dodd-Frank docs, confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with key infrastructure groups and their downstream impact on trade support actions.
• Ability to prepare and deliver clear presentations/roadshows to PB and JPMA Advisor teams.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain complex concepts.
• Willingness to work extended hours to support West Coast PB/JPMA teams across time zones.
• Attention to detail and ownership in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, adaptable to a pressurized and evolving environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical interpretation abilities.
• Proven ability to identify root causes, manage priorities, and complete initiatives with controls.

Responsibilities

• Business Partnership: Support and grow the OTC derivatives business with Private Bank and JPM Advisory teams.
• Trade Capture & Lifecycle Management: Accurately create/capture trades and lifecycle events in Risk Management Systems.
• Legal Documentation Support: Assist with Dodd-Frank and ISDA documentation, confirmations, and regulatory reporting.
• Intraday & End-of-Day Processing: Perform completeness and reconciliation checks for new trading activity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Finance, Credit Risk, Collateral, Legal to foster a one-team approach.
• Controls & Compliance: Ensure daily controls are performed and issues escalated timely.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with internal support teams.
• Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives to improve processes and architecture.
• Automation Development: Identify manual processes and develop automation solutions with risk-awareness.
• Trade Flow Expertise: Develop deep understanding of end-to-end trade and lifecycle across supported products.
