Job summary

Mutual of Omaha is seeking a senior Trading Operations professional to own the OTC derivatives lifecycle, including booking, confirmation, settlement, and margin management. You will coordinate with trading, counterparties, and custodians while helping scale the program to cleared derivatives and futures.

You will maintain data accuracy, drive process improvements, and partner with accounting, compliance, and risk to meet internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in investment operations, middle office, or trade support with derivatives experience.
• Experience with ISDA/CSA and margin concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational lifecycle for OTC derivatives — booking, confirmation, settlement, and lifecycle events across entities and counterparties.
• Manage daily margin and collateral processes, including margin calls and disputes.
• Reconcile data between investment systems and custodian records, resolving breaks.
• Help scale the operating model for cleared derivatives and futures including go‑live readiness.
• Maintain derivative data accuracy in security master and support data governance.
