Ideal candidates hold a J.D., active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and 3+ years of derivatives experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of experience handling derivatives matters at a law firm, financial institution, or other relevant organization.
• Experience drafting and negotiating ISDA documentation, including master agreements, schedules, CSAs, and related confirmations.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of derivatives matters, including ISDA master agreements, credit support documentation, and related trading arrangements.
• Negotiate and draft derivatives documentation involving swaps, options, futures, repurchase agreements, and other structured products.
• Support financing transactions that include hedging and risk management components.
• Counsel clients on regulatory matters affecting derivatives and financial markets.
• Collaborate with attorneys across banking, structured finance, capital markets, private equity, and investment management practices.
• Manage deal execution and client relationships while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
