Job summary

McKinstry is hiring a Renewables Commissioning Engineer to support our Distributed Energy Resources (DER) National team. You will lead commissioning activities on solar PV, BESS, and building systems, ensuring high quality, performance and reliability across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years of MEP experience, expertise in building automation, and a willingness to travel to project locations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of MEP experience in commissioning or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality new construction commissioning projects and ensure quality management.
• Coordinate commissioning plans for DER and solar/BESS projects.
• Perform commissioning activities on building systems including solar PV and BESS.
• Review system installations and control systems operations for compliance.
• Travel to project locations for technical services delivery.
