Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Volunteer Board Member at Ripple Effect Artists. The Board Member will participate in board meetings, provide strategic input, engage in fundraising efforts, meet a give/get requirement of $5k/year, and support the mission of addressing social injustice through arts.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with nonprofit governance and board structures
  • Experience in fundraising and donor relations
  • Strategic planning and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting
  • Passion for social justice and the arts
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Lighting, Compositing, Animation, and Game Development is a plus
