Fort Bend County is seeking a Deputy Sheriff in Richmond, Texas to conduct routine patrols, issue citations, maintain public safety, and assist with emergency management duties. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a Basic TCOLE Certification or be enrolled in a relevant police academy.

The role offers an hourly wage of $33.60, a bi-weekly salary of $2,688.00, and an annual salary of $69,888.00, along with benefits from the Texas County District Retirement System.

Formación

• Must currently hold a Basic TCOLE Certification or be enrolled in a Basic Police Academy.
• One year experience in law enforcement preferred.
• Must maintain all TCOLE requirements to be licensed as a peace officer.

Responsabilidades

• May be assigned to K9 Patrol, Patrol Division, or Community services.
• Conducts search and rescue operations.
• Performs routine police patrol to deter crime.
