Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead and implement the QA program for durable, reliable installations. You will oversee field inspections to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures and manage the quality control plan across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 2+ years of engineering/quality experience, knowledge of QA systems, and strong collaboration with clients and subcontractors. Background check required; U.S. candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, with Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer specific quality requirements, review governing references for a project quality plan.
• Create and maintain project specific quality plan and align External and MMC Quality Plans.
• Conduct mutual understanding meetings with subcontractors.
• Create and maintain Quality Control Tracking Log (QCTL) with planned vs actual QC schedules.
• Create QC checklists for the project.
• Verify submittal approvals.
• Facilitate and participate in design reviews.
• Interface with clients and subcontractors for issue resolution, audits and improvements.
• Coordinate inspections and audits with 3rd party inspectors.
• Document processes using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL etc.
• Lead QA activities, audits, and process improvements.
• Prepare quality reports and project scorecards.
