Job summary

KACE is seeking a Deputy Program Manager in Arlington, VA to support the Program Manager in coordinating administrative, professional, and technical services for government contracts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least four years of program management experience, and familiarity with Diversion Control; a Top Secret clearance is required. Salary is approximately $150,000–$170,000 per year, with some after-hours and weekend support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum four years of program management experience.
• Experience with Diversion Control or related compliance domain.
• Strong supervisory, organizational and administrative skills.
• PMP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and day-to-day administrative direction of contractor personnel.
• Monitor workload across locations to support contract compliance and timely execution.
• Serve as client contact and provide status information to COR and contract stakeholders.
• Monitor tasks to ensure proper execution and identify issues for improvement.
• Ensure personnel are qualified and work efficiently within timeframes.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and supervision of personnel with program manager guidance.
• Monitor time and attendance for billing and compliance.
• Lead or support staff meetings addressing process changes and policy updates.
• Contribute to policy development, training, and quality control programs.
• Assists in implementing procedures and maintaining required records.
• Assists in staffing and supervision across locations.
• Assist in document reviews and data analysis as needed.
• Emergency coverage: assume PM duties during absences.
