Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Deputy Program Manager in Jessup, MD to lead and grow advanced national-security programs for DoD and IC customers.

You will own cost, schedule, and technical performance while maintaining critical customer relationships and translating requirements into funded work. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, extensive program leadership experience, and the ability to manage multimillion-dollar efforts across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Ten+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least five years leading programs for DoD/IC customers.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar programs, contracts, or task orders.
• Experience managing program financial performance (revenue, margin, forecasts, EAC, staffing, funding, variance).
• Experience with contract types such as CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, or task-order contracts.
• Ability to establish trusted relationships with government customers and communicate with senior leadership.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including technical, operational, contractual, and financial personnel.
• Ability to translate evolving requirements into structured plans with milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, written communication, and executive-briefing skills.
• Ability to identify deteriorating program conditions and lead recovery actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and scheduling/collaboration tools.
• Experience supporting classified R&D, engineering, production, or fielding programs.
• Experience in mission areas like RF, EW, SIGINT, communications, cyber, sensing, or tactical systems.
• Experience moving technology from prototype to production and sustainment.
• Experience with national-security customers.
• Experience leading hardware, software, firmware, and systems engineering activities within a program.
• Experience developing proposals, white papers, and bases of estimate.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Deltek, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and growth of advanced national-security programs for DoD/IC customers.
• Report to Program/Portfolio Director; manage cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer relationships.
• Translate customer needs into executable, fundable work and manage risks.
• Coordinate across research, development, integration, production, fielding, and sustainment activities.
• Maintain program financials and develop corrective actions for deteriorating conditions.
