Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support government contracts in Falls Church, VA. The DPM will assist the PM in directing day-to-day operations, managing personnel, and coordinating with government stakeholders to ensure contract success.

The role requires leadership across teams, strong communication, and experience with government programs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, national security, IT, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or managing complex Government programs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required by contract.
• PMP or comparable program management certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Program Manager in directing day-to-day contract operations and ensuring successful execution.
• Translate Government priorities into actionable tasks for team leads.
• Track milestones, deliverables, schedules, action items, and performance objectives.
• Coordinate activities across teams to align with program priorities and contractual requirements.
• Identify execution issues and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain awareness of contract scope and help prevent out-of-scope work.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Team Leads and program personnel.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and staffing transitions.
• Assist PM with employee performance assessments, recognition, and corrective actions when necessary.
