Job summary

BlueWater Federal Solutions Inc. in Colorado Springs seeks an experienced Deputy Program Manager to oversee a large DoD program across communications, networking, cybersecurity, engineering, and IT services.

The role is contingent upon contract award and involves coordinating with government customers, subcontractors, and leadership. The ideal candidate has DoD leadership experience, a bachelor's degree, and security clearance eligibility, with preferred PMP/PgMP credentials and advanced degree.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain clearance.
• 8+ years of leadership experience on DoD or Federal technical services programs.
• Knowledge of DoD communications, enterprise IT, networking, cybersecurity, service management, CM, and mission-support environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager and assume PM responsibilities when required.
• Lead daily program operations across technical, functional, operational, and subcontractor teams.
• Support program transition, stabilization, staffing, onboarding, training, retention, and knowledge transfer.
• Manage program performance, schedules, quality, risks, issues, resources, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Government customers, subcontractors, teaming partners, and senior leadership.
• Support financial planning, staffing forecasts, cost control, and subcontractor performance.
• Maintain program governance, quality, risk, configuration management, and continuous-improvement processes.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, workforce stability, and mission success.
