Job summary

Bowhead Family of Companies seeks an experienced Deputy Program Manager to lead the Data Collection Support Services for the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center in Aberdeen, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technology discipline.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• 5–7 years’ data collection experience in a test and evaluation environment.
• 5 years’ experience supervising 50+ people in a technical environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, logistics systems, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary or secondary contractor representative with decision authority.
• Direct overall performance of DCSS requirements including data collection and scheduling support.
• Assist with staffing, training, qualification requirements, and workforce continuity.
• Coordinate resource planning with ATC personnel for test schedules.
• Oversee performance, quality assurance, safety, and Government property accountability.
• Manage deficiencies, corrective actions, and timely deliverables with government.
• Coordinate among Government stakeholders, contractor teams, and support orgs.
• Establish and maintain an authorized alternate for PM absence.
