Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Data Collection Leader for the ATCDC proposal effort to oversee daily data collection activities supporting the DCSS contract for the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center in Aberdeen, MD.

The role provides technical leadership, resource coordination, training, field-data quality review, and issue resolution to ensure timely, accurate test data. Responsibilities include directing schedules, mentoring data collectors, monitoring events, and ensuring compliance with government standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technology discipline with 3 years RAM/IPS or similar data collection experience; or Associate's degree with 5 years; or 7 years RAM/IPS data collection experience.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate daily schedules and assignments for data collection resources.

DATA COLLECTION LEADER (ATCDC)

Bowhead is seeking an experienced Data Collection Leader for our upcoming proposal effort to oversee daily data collection activities supporting the Data Collection Support Services (DCSS) contract supporting the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) Aberdeen, MD. The position provides technical leadership, resource coordination, training, field-data quality review, and resolution of issues affecting test-data accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate daily schedules and assignments for data collection resources.
• Provide technical direction, training, and mentoring to assigned data collectors.
• Monitor test events and ensure accurate, complete, and timely collection of required observations and records.
• Review data collection products for compliance with applicable Government standards and test requirements.
• Identify incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate data and coordinate timely corrections.
• Provide technical assistance concerning collection procedures, documentation, and authorized data systems.
• Coordinate with Government test officers, data quality personnel, and contractor supervisors.
• Support training curricula, employee qualification development, and standardization of data collection practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technology discipline and three (3) years of experience performing RAM/IPS or similar data collection involving military or nonmilitary equipment and associated maintenance concepts; or Associate's degree in a technical area and five (5) years of experience performing data collection involving military or nonmilitary equipment and associated maintenance concepts; or seven (7) years of experience performing RAM/IPS or similar data collection involving military or nonmilitary equipment and associated maintenance concepts
• Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Targeted salary range is $58.80/hour based on qualifications and experience.

Preferred Experience

• Army test incident reporting, test event documentation, and structured maintenance data collection.
• Experience using Government-designated electronic test-data collection and reporting systems.
• Quality reviews, corrective-action follow-up, and data collector training.
• ATC, ATEC, or other DoD test center operations.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 15-25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
