Job summary

Leidos seeks a Deputy Program Manager for the Air Traffic Business Area within the Homeland Sector to support Leidos Flight Service. The role is hybrid in Ashburn, VA or Gaithersburg, MD, requiring 3 days on-site and 2 days remote; candidates should reside within a commutable distance.

You will run day-to-day execution, own financial performance and risk, and collaborate with the FAA and Leidos leadership to meet delivery commitments and maintain contract performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of leadership experience or Master's with 10+ years
• Experience leading enterprise, scaled Agile programs on fixed-price contracts
• Record of leading large FAA programs with contract performance
• Experience mentoring teams of 100+ personnel in a matrixed environment
• Financial management experience including P&L oversight and margin accountability
• Executive-level customer relationship and proactive reporting
• Experience delivering software-intensive systems to milestones in federal cloud environments

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations and governance with status reporting and executive reviews
• Lead with a find-a-way-to-yes mindset and coach delivery leads
• Serve as the Program Manager's deputy with delegated decision authority
• Work with FAA program and contracting stakeholders to align requirements and expectations
