Qualifications

The Project Manager supports planning, coordination, reporting, documentation, and day-to-day project execution to help ensure work is completed successfully and remains aligned with organizational priorities. The role maintains continual communication with AFOSI leadership, supports enterprise-wide IT requirements resulting from policy changes, new technology, or requests for new capabilities, and assists with required briefings, reports, meeting minutes, memorandums, and other project documentation. * **Responsibilities**: * Supports planning, coordination, reporting, and documentation for IT-related projects to promote successful execution and alignment with AFOSI priorities.* Facilitates Agile activities, including Kanban board management, Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, demonstrations, daily coordination, and backlog refinement.* Applies Agile and Waterfall project management practices based on project requirements and supports projects through traditional and iterative delivery lifecycles.* Prepares professional written documentation, including executive-level briefings, technical reports, meeting minutes, memorandums, status updates, and project records.* Maintains continual liaison with AFOSI leadership and project stakeholders, communicates technical requirements and status, and helps adapt project scope and execution in response to policy changes, new technology integration, and emerging capability needs.* Provide comprehensive technical support for AFOSI’s Atlassian implementations (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence) across both classified and unclassified domains. This includes designing and maintaining complex Jira workflows (including validators, conditions, and post-functions), creating advanced Confluence templates and blueprints, and managing permissions schemes to ensure data segregation.* Serve as the APM in the absence of the Program Manager overseeing all work conducted under the contract.**Years of Experience**: * At least 5 years of IT project management experience applying both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban practices such as sprint planning, backlog management, and Kanban board use.* At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator or Project Lead, specifically demonstrating the ability to design custom workflows that utilize conditions, validators, and post-functions.
