Qualifications

  • SAP or Oracle implementations required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the COO to plan and coordinate the GL implementation.
  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders, project teams, and vendors.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners.
  • Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and governance.
  • Prepare updates, materials, and exec-level communications.

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to act as Deputy Program Lead to support a large-scale Global General Ledger (GL) implementation involving SAP or Oracle. This individual will serve as a key partner helping coordinate the program, manage critical relationships, and ensure internal teams and external vendors remain aligned throughout the implementation.

  • Partner closely with the COO to support the planning, coordination, and execution of the Global General Ledger implementation.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across internal stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and expectations remain aligned.
  • Coordinate activities across Finance, Operations, Technology, and other business functions.
  • Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, action items, and key deliverables.
  • Track project risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies and ensure appropriate escalation and follow-through.
  • Prepare project updates, status reports, meeting materials, and executive-level communications.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines are clearly documented.
  • Support governance activities and provide the COO with visibility into project status, risks, vendor performance, and areas requiring executive attention.
  • Proactively identify potential roadblocks and work across teams to drive resolution.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders and external partners remain accountable to agreed-upon timelines and deliverables.
  • Support implementation readiness, testing, deployment, and other project activities as needed.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • 6+ years of Project or Program Management experience supporting complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting ERP, General Ledger, Finance Transformation, or financial systems implementations strongly required.
  • SAP or Oracle implementation experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors, consulting partners, and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to work closely with C-suite and senior leadership.
  • Experience managing project plans, risks/issues, dependencies, governance, and executive reporting.
  • Financial services experience required.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, relationship-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate as a hands-on project partner in a fast-moving, complex global environment.
