Job summary

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans seeks a professional for the role of Second in Command in the Networks Department. The position entails planning, assigning, and reviewing the work of the Networks Zone Managers and providing engineering support to ensure smooth operation of sewer and water infrastructure.

Successful candidates will oversee management controls, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and perform related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, engineering technology, construction management or related field.
• Six (6) years of experience involving project management, engineering, utility maintenance or related work. At least two (2) years must have included supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Second in Command of the Networks Department, supervising Networks Zone Managers and related engineering support functions.
• Plan, assign, and review work, and establish and monitor management controls for assigned operational areas to ensure compliance with regulations.
