AD Mortgage LLC, Fort Lauderdale, seeks an experienced Deputy General Counsel to align legal strategy with business goals across mortgage origination, servicing, and consumer finance. You will lead regulatory compliance, commercial contracting, and governance while mentoring a growing legal team.

The role requires a JD, state licensure, and 2+ years in mortgage/fintech sectors, coupled with strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 2+ years in mortgage banking, consumer finance, financial services, or fintech.
• Experience advising senior executives and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending, servicing regulations, consumer finance laws, regulatory compliance, and commercial contracting.

Responsabilidades

• Regulatory & Compliance Counsel: Advise on federal/state mortgage laws and support regulatory exams.
• Commercial & Transactional Support: Draft/review a broad range of agreements and support product launches and acquisitions.
• Litigation & Risk Management: Manage litigation with outside counsel and assess risks.
• Corporate Governance & Leadership: Support governance, budgets and cross-functional collaboration.
