Job summary

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking a Deputy Director for Priority Capital Construction Programs within the TB&T Department. You will oversee a substantial capital budget and guide the executive team managing key projects across the portfolio.

This role supports mega-projects such as Restore the George, Outerbridge Crossing rehabilitation, Lincoln Tunnel Helix and the Bus Terminal replacement, with a mandate to improve mobility, safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Management, Technology, Operations Management or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Graduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation or related field preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressively responsible executive level experience, with at least 7 years in public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Advance TB&T’s Priority Capital Construction Programs and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Represent the Director in their absence and oversee department leaders.
• Provide leadership to inter-departmental initiatives affecting operations, budgets and safety.
• Support strategic planning, policy, and performance measures for capital programs.
