Job summary

DCAS's Energy Management division seeks a Deputy Director to oversee the design-build energy efficiency capital program across City facilities. You will lead staff, coordinate with partners, and drive project delivery with independent judgment while ensuring compliance with city guidelines.

The role emphasizes RFQ/RFP development, budget oversight, and performance tracking to meet energy and cost targets for a broad NYC portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading capital energy efficiency projects in a large organization.
• Proven ability to manage staff and external design-build teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills for project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-house design-build energy efficiency capital projects for City facilities.
• Provide administrative and technical leadership to DEM engineers and designers.
• Develop and oversee RFQs/RFPs for energy efficiency projects within DB framework.
• Support capital funding allocation strategies and ensure milestone achievement.
