Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) seeks a Deputy Director of Expanded Learning to lead program quality across ~100 EXL programs in seven Bay Area districts. The role reports to the Executive Director of Expanded Learning and focuses on translating strategy into effective delivery, district partnerships, and sound regional budget performance.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in Expanded Learning or related field
• Experience managing multi-site programs or high-level managers
• Deep familiarity with Bay Area school districts and partnerships
• Experience with continuous quality improvement frameworks (e.g., SEL PQA, site observations)
• Ability to manage multi-million-dollar regional budgets and ensure sustainability

Responsibilities

• Lead program quality and performance across nearly 100 EXL programs
• Coach Associate Directors to strengthen leadership and accountability
• Translate organizational strategy into actionable regional plans
• Ensure district partnerships and regional budget performance
• Foster equity and inclusive practices across programs
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, Finance and Leadership to manage change
