Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is seeking a results-oriented leader to guide program teams across multiple school sites. The role focuses on building high-performing staff, ensuring program quality, and strengthening partnerships with districts and community partners.

You will oversee recruitment, coaching, and development initiatives while monitoring budgets and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Associate degree or equivalent education/experience considered).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in expanded learning, youth development, education, or related field.
  • Experience supervising and coaching adult staff.
  • Experience managing budgets and overseeing multiple funding sources.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and TB clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance coaching, and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and staff growth.
  • Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Ensure High-Quality Programs.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor program quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Partner with Coordinators to develop action plans that strengthen student outcomes.
  • Use data to monitor program performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support implementation of high-quality academic, enrichment, and youth development programming.
  • Build Strong School & Community Partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with school districts, principals, and community partners.
  • Develop collaborative relationships that strengthen programs and improve student success.
  • Represent BACR at district meetings, community events, and professional conferences.
  • Promote culturally responsive, equitable, and inclusive practices across all programs.
  • Manage Operations & Fiscal Responsibility.
  • Monitor program budgets, approve expenses, and oversee fiscal accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements, district expectations, and organizational policies.
  • Review and approve timesheets, reports, and operational documentation.
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure contracts, reporting, and administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.

What You'll Do
