Job summary

City of New York's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene seeks a Deputy Director, Clinical Operations Implementation & Improvement, to lead strategic planning and execution for the Bureau of Public Health Clinics. You will drive program implementation, quality initiatives, and cross-agency collaboration to advance patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in administrative or policy-making roles, or equivalent.
• Experience leading clinical operations projects and teams in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and quality improvement frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the clinical operations strategy aligned with the organization’s plan.
• Lead implementation roadmaps for new clinical programs and quality initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure projects meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with IT, HR, Compliance, Finance and clinical departments for cross-functional execution.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and reports.
