The City of New York is seeking a Deputy Director for Bus Stop Management within Traffic Control & Engineering (TCE). This role supports the Director in guiding daily operations, planning and maintaining bus stops, signage, and related systems citywide.

You will supervise staff, monitor projects, manage contracts with the MTA and others, and engage with stakeholders including DOT divisions, unions, community boards, and elected officials to improve safety, accessibility and mobility for

Qualificações

• Master's degree or higher in a related transportation field required.
• Experience with roadway transportation and traffic studies preferred.
• Understanding of urban planning and traffic management concepts.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills for multi-stakeholder projects.

Formação académica

Master's degree in transportation engineering, mathematics, urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, urban studies, or related physical and social science fields

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college and one year of full-time satisfactory experience performing technical work on roadway transportation and traffic studies and area-wide traffic programs

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and two years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in '2' above

Associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits
