Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. seeks a Deputy Director and Labor Impacts Senior Fellow to lead AI policy governance research and coordinate labor impact studies. The role includes program management, fundraising, and coordinating with policymakers.

Under supervision of the Center Director, you will mentor researchers, manage budgets, and oversee grants while representing CSIS in media, congressional briefings, and international exchanges.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in technology, public policy, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• At least 6-8 years of experience in technology or policy development and research.
• Experience managing personnel, projects, budgets, and grants preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee AI policy, governance, and economic-impact research; develop a robust research agenda.
• Edit reports, commentaries, and blogs; strengthen program communications and outreach.
• Chair events, workshops, and international exchanges; engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Attract and build a world-class team; supervise staff and manage grants and contracts.
