Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks a Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer (DCHRO) for Operations to lead core HR operations, workforce analytics, and talent acquisition. Reporting to the CHRO, this role oversees a 250-employee HR organization with a $35M budget and 3+ direct reports managing 100+ staff.

The DCHRO shapes data-driven HR strategies and organizational capability for LANL’s evolving mission.

Qualifications

• Expert level knowledge and strategy in HR with data analytics.
• Deep experience in strategic workforce planning and recruitment alignment.
• Strong HRIS background, data fluency, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to the CHRO and HR management team.
• Lead Laboratory-wide HR projects from planning through execution.
