The University of Vermont’s Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) seeks a Deputy PACE Chief Officer to lead online education strategy, program development, enrollment management, and student services. This senior role aligns programs with institutional priorities and drives growth across Vermont and beyond.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, engage with faculty, partners, and administrators, and steer initiatives that elevate academic quality, accessibility, and workforce relevance

Formación

• Master’s degree in related field and 7–10 years of academic operations, curricular development/design, and online education leadership experience in higher education.
• Experience designing end-to-end online infrastructure.
• Experience in online teaching and instructional design.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation.
• Strong leadership, project management, supervisory, market research, organizational and communications skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of statistical/enrollment trends.
• Knowledge of higher education philosophy, governance, structure and culture.
• Strong understanding of financial models and budget expectations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across online education, program development, enrollment management, student services, program portfolio management, and academic innovation.
• Implement the UVM Online Roadmap and advance innovative learning initiatives to support enrollment growth and student success.
• Develop sustainable infrastructure, policies, processes, partnerships, and service models for online and continuing education.
• Plan strategically with market research, enrollment forecasting, program evaluation, and assessment in collaboration with academic units.
• Collaborate with faculty and external partners to advance PACE’s mission and strategic priorities.
