Church World Service (CWS) is seeking a visionary Deputy Chief, Advancement to lead fundraising, communications, and marketing efforts and to shape CWS's revenue generation strategy. The role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and involves cross-functional collaboration and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10-15+ years in nonprofit fundraising with 8-10 years in leadership.
• Experience directing unified advancement strategy across fundraising, marketing, and communications.
• Proven ability to build sustainable funding portfolios for mission-oriented organizations.

Responsabilités

• Strategic leadership for fundraising, marketing, and communications to drive revenue growth.
• Lead cross-functional campaigns in line with CWS vision, mission, and values.
• Develop and implement Advancement Strategy including Revenue Generation and Communications/Marketing plans.
• Engage donors and funding partners to expand CWS reach and impact.
• Create and lead the Advancement and Communications Hub for cross-department collaboration.
