Oxford Active Ltd have been running successfully for over 20 years. We look for candidates experienced in childcare that ideally have one year’s experience working and/or volunteering with children in a play or sports environment and have also been an Activity Leader at one of our sites for at least 6 months. You must have a good understanding of OFSTED and safeguarding children and can communicate effectively.
Deputy Managers are used across our larger sites where we have 80 or more children. Your role will be to assist the Camp Manager with their duties which can include admin work, observing staff and upskilling them to run sessions successfully, assisting with challenging children, speaking with parents, and stepping in as an Activity Leader where necessary.
When working at Active Camps, you will be supported by head office and the camp team. We can also offer training opportunities and career progression.
Active Camps runs from 8am – 6pm (excluding bank holidays).
