Palm Beach County is seeking an experienced Deputy Building Official to provide strategic and operational leadership for the inspection, flood, drainage, and code administration functions. The successful candidate will lead with integrity, accountability, and collaboration to serve both the community and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in building construction, engineering, architecture or fire administration with years of experience in code review/inspections.
• Alternative degrees with extensive experience in code review/inspection are acceptable.
• High school graduate with 10+ years in related code review/inspection and supervisory experience acceptable.
