Job summary

Amcor is looking for a results-driven leader to manage the Converting (pouching) department at a large plant in the United States. The role oversees 4 supervisors and over 100 hourly employees, driving safety, quality, productivity and costs in line with customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have a technical bachelor's degree, at least 7 years in manufacturing and 5 years in leadership. Strong emphasis on 5S, GMP and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Converting (pouching) department ensuring safety, quality, productivity and cost targets.
• Oversee 4 supervisors and 100+ hourly employees; enforce 5S and GMP standards.
• Establish and monitor KPI performance and conduct regular department meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement projects with plant leadership to meet business plans.
