Job summary

Floor & Decor in Reno, NV is seeking a training role to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service and product information. You will lead certification courses, coach staff, and promote strong basics of retail under Floor & Decor’s standards.

The position focuses on merchandising, pricing, and collaboration with store teams to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to all product sales specialists to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Ensure the overall merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate standard operating procedure direction and changes to all associates in a timely manner.
